The Travis Wetland Trust is holding its AGM on the 20th October at 7pm.

The AGM will be held at the Education Centre, at the end of Beach Road.

Vicky Steele, Trustee of the Monarch Butterfly NZ Trust will be speaking on a potential habitat improvement programme for Travis Wetland to encourage native butterflies into the area.

All are welcome to attend, supper will follow.

The Travis Wetland Trust is having a public planting day at the wetland.

Starting at 10am and finishing about 12pm please meet at the Education Centre at the end of Beach Road.

Everyone is welcome spades will be provided, bring gumboots, gloves, water etc. A BBQ will follow.

The Travis Wetland Trust holds workdays at the wetland on the third Saturday of every month. They begin 9am and finish around noon, with morning tea provided.

Meet at 9am at the western end of Beach Road (off Frosts Road)

Equipment and gumboots are provided if you do not have your own.
