The Travis Wetland Trust has won the 2009 Green Ribbon Award for Urban Sustainability.
The Award was awarded to the Trust for its outstanding efforts to preserve and develop a wetland as a nature park in an urban area.
Colin Meurk (President) and Olivia Burge (Trust Member) went to Wellington to collect the award.
