As usual we will have an evening guided walk to celebrate World Wetlands Day on 2 February. We’ll make a brief tour of the Tōtara/Mataī forest area at the southern end of the wetland.
It’s pretty dry down there at the moment so waterproof footwear is not required, but the ground is uneven and sturdy footwear is advised.
