Travis Lake Pest Fishing
This video shows Travis Lake Pest Fishing for the noxious species of illegally introduced Rudd, (Scardinius erythrophthalmus) which initial fishing six years ago caught nearly 400. Also monitoring with Gee Minnow traps to see if the translocated Canterbury Mudfish have spread from their point of release.

Greening the red zone – The movie
Based on Eastern Rising’s award-nominated show about the Christchurch river red zone, this film showcases several projects for the quake-damaged area that are ecologically based, and which bring multiple benefits to the city. Starting with the ecological restoration of the river, and including the Natural Playgrounds proposal, the Waitākiri Ecosanctuary and the Red Zone Dark Sky Park.
